Loved combining these two challenges:
I started by white embossing a script stamp on watercolour paper and gave it a gray wash. I then stamped the rose in a mix of Blush Blossom, Peach Parfait & Chocolate Chip. I matted the piece on Peach card-stock and then recreated Bev’s fun sketch. I added two leafy die-cuts on the top left in gray and brown and the card was done.
Thanks for stopping by 😉 Happy to see you again!
Yay, this card was a weekly winner at the CAS Colours & Sketches for Sketch Challenge #179. Thanks for the recognition & Congrats to all the other Winners 🙂
Beautiful card!! From what company is the script stamp?

Impression Obsession, cover a card “French Script” but I believe this version has been discontinued 😣

This is beautiful. I like that your ‘white space’ is not white and the leaf fronds as tabs. Thanks for using the CC&S sketch for your inspiration

I really like the leafy branches as the 2 “off the rectangle” elements. Great idea. The watercolour wash is really fun too. Thanks for joining us at CAS Colours & Sketches this week. Liz x

What a stunning combination of the two challenges! I love how you’ve layered the script, the rose, and the watercolor wash. I’m so glad you made CC&S part of your crafting fun, and I hope you’ll join us again soon for another challenge! 🙂
