Less is More Challenge #306 theme is OUTLINE + a ONE LAYER card! Masking my white card base with Penny Black’s Framed Fern die cut, I stamped a square retro stamp in Versafine Sepia ink and clear heat embossed. Before removing the mask, the die-cut was outlined with a sepia marker and then I painted with Liquitex iridescent bright gold ink. Using Zig clean colour real brushed, the background was coloured in two shades of blue. Once dry, Dorland’s Wax Medium was rubbed on the square background to seal the watercolour and a shimmer coat of Pearl Ex Sparkle Gold was brushed on. Finally I wanted to give the framed fern dimension, so it was covered with Crackle Accents, and the card was done. Hope you enjoy 😉 Thanks for stopping by, HUGz Joanna
This really looks awesome! I LOVE the imagery, and the beautiful colours. It’s a work of art and I agree it deserves to be framed 🙂 Thanks for playing along with us at Less is More 🙂
