Smile ;)

N@ali from CAS(E) this Sketch #208 has an amazing sketch.capture-decran-2017-02-09-a-13-21-35   The flower was first white heat embossed and then masked with a second fussy cut piece.  Another rectangular frame mask was made so that I could apply Coarse texture paste mixed with gold acrylic paint, but I added a torn strip of paper in the midsection as to create interest.  Once dry I proceed to paint in the same gold the section where the torn strip had been placed.  The flower was painted with Zig Clean color brush pens.  A hand drawn contour was made with fine Faber Castel Pitt Pen.  The word die “smile” was die cut in watercolour paper as to be painted in the same Zig colours.  Another black “smile” die cut was pasted on the underside and glued to the bottom on the rectangle.  Gold & white splatters were added,  …as you can see, the gold paint was still thick 😛 , but I liked the results.

Thanks for stopping by, happy card making!  HUGz Joannaimg_1459-copie

  1. I really like the texture of the gold paint. What a great idea to outline the images like you did. I’d be so nervous to try that. . . . but it turned out great. Love the gradient smile sentiment with the black shadow background.

  2. This is so gorgeous. Love the thick gold paint splattered in the background. Great design with center panel and then painting gold with a black doodled border. Your flower is gorgeous with the shading. So many wonderful elements in this one card! xx
