Color Throwdown #438

Capture d_écran 2017-04-12 à 16.06.18Just waiting for the warm weather to arrive, so I made a blossom card for Color Throwdown’s #438 Challenge ->  coral, yellow, leaf green and white 😀

I die cut Memory Box’s Lorelai Leaf Outline Die to create a stencil thus allowing me to leaf green colour the light modelling paste and applying it to my card base.  A Sizzix wild flower die in Bristol paper was tinted here and there with Coral Zig Clean Brushes.  A tiny IO butterfly was die cut 3 times in yellow vellum and tied together with thread.  Yellow watercolour splatters were added before adhering all the die cuts.  “Je pense à Toi” (Thinking of You) was stamped in black Versafine ink.  That’s my card for today 😉  Thanks for stopping by, HUGz, JoannaIMG_1659

  1. What a lovely card design!…from the suggestion of color on the flowers to the adorable and clever butterfly…all anchored by that clean, simple texture-paste leaf! I am always amazed by your work but this charmer is one of my favorites! 😀
