May CAS Mix Up Reminder!

It’s the CAS Mix Up reminder card  CAS Mix Up challenge is “SPATTERING” 😉 + Stamping + Your Choice!

The card base is watercolour paper which I completely wetted and added splatters of Maganese and Ultramarine blue while very wet.  While waiting for my piece to dry I also watercolored the hydrangea die cuts.  Once everything was dry I added splatters of the same watercolours plus diluted white & silver acrylic paint to the base.  I also stamped the flowers with a French Script stamp.  A white ticket tag was stamped and heat embossed “Pour toi” (for you) and blue twine was attached.  Two leaf die cuts in white were also adhered to the collection.

Hope to see your scrumptious creations in our gallery, take a look at the design team’s inspirational cards, including our guest designer’s.  Thanks for stopping by, Hugs joanna-cmu-signature

  1. I’m in love with this card as blue is my favourite colour!! Wonderful shades of blue in the background, and perfect with the splatters of blue and white. I love the mix of die cuts, especially the flowers with the text stamped on them.

  2. I’ve been admiring this, Joanna, and it’s even better enlarged! Love the mix of textures in your splatters and the lovely little collage is so interesting! Beautiful and peaceful card!

  3. OMG Joanna…Love all your watercolouring and splattering techniques for your background and your stamped flowers. Adding more die cuts, sentiment and twine gave your card so much more texture and dimension. So many beautiful elements, yet…still a beautiful CAS design. TFS my friend. Hugs…

  4. Such a beautiful mix of blues for this card Joanna! Love the soft watercoloured background with the texture from the multi-coloured splatters. You always put together the most perfect arrangement of elements for your focal point! xx
