This month the July CAS Mix Up Challenge is working with tissue paper. Lots of great videos on the blog to get you all excited to give it a try 😛
Using white tissue paper and Matte Medium, I adhered it to a large piece of Bristol Paper. After allowing it to dry I really liked all the texture left on the paper so I decided to leave it as is and die cut a rectangle along with a square window for my stamped and bronze heat embossed butterfly. The Memory Box SKETCH DAISY die cut was heat embossed 3 times with Sapphire. The flower/leaves have a coat of white embossing powder, then a coat of clear embossing powder leaving a ceramic look. The card came together by adding a little bronze thread.
Do join in on the fun! There’s plenty of Design Team inspiration to be found on the blog. Hope to see you there 😉 Thanks for stopping by, Hugs
This is very pretty Joanna and I love the way you have done the leaves and the tissue paper works as a base for this lovely collage. x

I love your collage with the tissue paper base, Joanna. I used matte medium to adhere tissue paper and tried to paint it. It still rubs of after a couple of weeks of drying! Leaving it white was a smart as well as classy move! Love the daisy and bronze thread! As always and super card!

Fabulous design, Joanna. Love your tissue paper frame for your pretty butterfly and flower. So cool how the layering of white embossing and then clear created a look of stone on your flower petals and leaves. I need to try that! xx
