Two choices to have fun with for the December Cas Mix Up Challenge. You still have time to play before the 24th and lots of inspiration to be found on the Challenge.
I had to go back to our July Challenge and give tissue paper another try. On a rectangular piece of Kraft card stock I adhered a holly leaf branch, die-cut 3 times and glued together, allowing some leaves to hang over the edge. Then I applied a couple of layers of white tissue paper with Matte Medium. Once dry, I added Color Box’s Frost White Pigment ink over the edges to give it a distress look. I also added Versamark on the leaves to heat emboss some Sparkle powder, giving them some shimmer. Then I proceeded to add Liquid Pearls as berries, to which I added red glitter. A rectangle of red glitter paper was matted behind the Kraft paper to repeat the glitter theme 😉 “Joyeux Noël” (Merry Christmas) was stamped in Versafine black ink and clear heat embossed twice using my Misti (should of done this before adding the berries, can you see? …they got crushed 😦 ) I centered my piece onto AC white card stock.
I hope that Christmas will bring you all a time of family gathering filled with love and peace, may this period by MERRY for all. Let there be plenty of HOPE!
You will definitely want to see the other Design Team Members & Guest gorgeous creations, hope to see you in our gallery. MERRY CHRISTMAS
