A Valentine’s card for
the OLC CUTE Challenge #363 at “Less is More” and the CAS Colour & Sketches Challenge #256 SKETCH. Dry embossing with a stitched postage die for the Papersmooches sentiment “you’re purrfect”; heat embossed in Martha Stewart ladybug powder. The CUTE cat was stamped with Versafine black onyx and heat embossed in clear twice. Masking the sentiment plus a round aperture, I ink blended in red, yellow and blue. Using Copic greys, I added some dimension to the postage and circle outline. This colourful one layer card is my take on theses challenges.
Thanks for stopping by, HUGz, Joanna
Brilliant! Such an amazing trompe l’oeil – bravo! and the beautifully blended rainbow colours really compliment the cat silhouette. I used to love adding shading like that to one layer cards – you’ve inspired me to get doing that again. Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Less is More xx
