Madame Butterfly

Capture d_écran 2018-02-06 à 16.41.08Thought I’d make a Butterfly card today for the CASology theme: Week 286 along with the CAS Colours & Sketches colours for Challenge #258.  Capture d_écran 2018-02-06 à 16.41.18I died Japanese paper in Wild Wasabi green where I nested a Powder Pink Papillon with a Berry Burst Body.  (PPP & BBB 😉 ..having fun)  The Butterfly, given to me by my friend Bonnie, was clear heat embossed then heat embossed again with Sparkle EP.  White Vellum was adhered to the back and then fussy cut.  Liquid Pearls were used for the body and lastly, three pink rhinestones were added.

Thanks for stopping by, HUGz, Joanna xxIMG_2405

  1. The mix of textures here is absolutely wonderful! The background, the green fuzzy paper, the vellum, the heat embossing, and the sequins all work together to make a fabulous card. Thank you for sharing it with us at CC&S! 🙂
