I took the Less is More Challenge #365 “CAS Dry Embossing” and decided to make my own folder using Penny Black’s Iris flower. Using vellum Bristol card stock, I made a folder and then die-cut 2 other sheets with this flower die. I kept, both the die cut and the negative space of the die cut flower. I adhered the negative pieces together onto one side of my folder. Then I carefully inserted the flower die cut, already adhered together, into the negative space, like paper piecing a die cut. I added tacky glue onto the flower die cut and folded my Bristol folder. Once all was dry, keeping my fingers crossed, I passed an A2 size white card stock and it worked, YAY 😛
I white heat embossed “Just un petit Bonjour” (Just a little Hello) and the card was done!!! Thanks for stopping by, HUGz, Joanna
Here’s what the folder looked like ….
Wonderful idea and beautiful result!
