Having fun with ACETATE, is the theme this month at CAS Mix Up! Using 2 inch Sookwang double sided tape, I adhered a gold Framed Fern die-cut onto one side of the tape and added iridescent cellophane flakes. This stuff can get quite messy on a work surface space. Then I peeled the opposite side and placed an acetate sheet. After fussy cutting the frame, the gold die cut had lost it’s shine through the sticky tape and acetate, so I decided to add another die-cut over the acetate using Glossy Accents as adhesive. I added the stamp “Affection” (Affectionately) on my card base and gold heat embossed. Quick and messy 😉 Lots of DT inspiration plus videos so you can play along!
A special thank you to Heather Telford for allowing me to discover the products from The Foiled Fox Store. This card was a winner over at their blog, and I am excited about their prize 😀 Thank you for the recognition!
Thanks for stopping by, HUGz

Beautiful CAS card! Don’t know what they are, but the flakes caught my attention. Love it.

I think I still have some of these flakes, Jo, and I’m glad to see something to do with them. This is GORGEOUS! So simple yet so elegant! Love this die.

I will definitely be trying this technique as I have had a jar of those flakes for ages and never use them! I can see lots of options for Christmas cards with the technique! I love your simple gold die cut and the one word sentiment! So glad you’re experimenting more with acetate for my challenge!! Thank you!
