What are Mondays for 😀 , especially when there is the Simon Monday Challenge. This week it’s Flower Power, so I powdered some Yellow and Bright Red Brushos onto a piece of Bristol Paper and spritzed with Tsukineko Sheer Shimmer Spritz. Once dry, I added a piece of tissue paper with Matte Medium. While drying, I die cut two Spellbinder wreaths, one in textured card stock and the other in Vellum. With my Copics, I tinted in pink and coral the vellum wreath. Then I die cut SSS Hydrangea Petals in my textured paper and a few tiny flowers. On my card base, I stamped and heat embossed in pink and yellow my sentiment: “les fleurs” (flowers). Finally, my card was assembled together and liquid Pearls were added for the stamen.
Since I did stamp the sentiment I’m also entering my card to the Craft Stamper Magazine: Take it Make it Challenge: April with an ANYTHING GOES! theme.
AND I just discovered a new blog …for me 😉 It’s called the Cat’s Pajamas, they post a new challenge first Tuesday of the month. Spring is Challenge #345, so that’s where I also posted my card.
Thanks for stopping by, HUGz, Joanna
