Weddings

Capture d_écran 2018-04-29 à 13.30.35Spring is wedding season for us, so I chose the Less is More Challenge #370 to influence my nearly all white card.  Using a Technique Tuesday die, I die-cut, in 140 lb water paper, the three attached hearts.  Each one was embellished differently.  The larger heart was clear heat embossed adding iridescent cellophane flakes while hot.  The medium size heart was heat embossed with silver pearl adding an edge of silver EP.  The third smallest Capture d_écran 2018-04-29 à 15.59.41heart has gel paste with clear micro-beads pressed into the medium.  Iridescent cellophane sequins were added with a silver bead in the center.  “Amour” (love) was stamped and heat embossed with silver pearl.

I also entered my card to the Wednesday-Challenge-Winner-0121Addicted to Stamps and More! Challenge #289 – lot’s of texture but still CAS 😀  And since anything goes over at the Simon Wednesday Challenge, my card will be there.

Thanks so much for stopping by, HUGz, JoannaIMG_2705

  1. Such a beautiful card! White on white is so classy and you’ve made this look extra special with all the interest in those heart shapes. Micro beads feel lovely and soft, don’t they? The iridescent cellophane flakes look on fire as they catch the light. Gorgeous work. Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Less is More xx

  2. Love your design Joanna! The textures from the different hearts is amazing. Wonderful way to use mixed media products, while keeping the design CAS. Gorgeous card! xx

  3. Jo, that is one of the loveliest wedding cards I’ve ever seen. It is so CAS but has so much going on with all the beautiful textures. Love the three different techniques you used on the hearts!
