On the Palm Leaves

Capture d_écran 2018-05-07 à 11.21.03Scratching my head for the RAINBOW theme over at CAS Watercolour Card Challenge.  I die-cut three palm branches out of water colour paper and put my primary watercolours to work.  On each piece I added a primary pigment followed, on various parts, by it’s neighbouring primary: the first top red and yellow, the second middle yellow and blue and finally the third bottom blue and red.  The purple on the bottom leaf came out quite dark, but it is purple in real life.  After clear heat embossing them (to seal the colour), I placed them in the aperture of a MFT Die-namics Stitched Triple Peek-a-Boo Windows cut out of white textured card stock.  I added a black tag stamped “mes chaleureux Remerciements!” (warmest thanks) with Versamark and white heat embossed.

Thanks for stopping by, warmest thanks 😉 , Joanna
