June CAS Mix Up

Welcome to our exciting June Challenge at CAS Mix Up called Layered Embossing Powders.  Pop on over to the blog to get inspired by the Design Team along with great videos for tips and tricks.

A vase die cut in thick card stock was placed onto my electric fondu plate, along with a piece of non stick craft sheet and 3 colours of embossing powder (greens and blue) were randomly added to cover the vase.  Once cooled, I stamped, with Versamark, a crackle stamp from IO and added silver embossing powder which I then heated with my heat gun.  I die-cut silver Japanese Paper with Memory Box’s bamboo shoots die and made an arrangement to fit into the top of my vase.  Some aqua string flowers from the Sue Wilson’s collection were added along with Liquid Pearls for the hearts of the blooms.  “En cette occasion” (On this occasion) was stamped with Peacock Oxide ink.

We’d love for you to join us, you’ll discover and truly enjoy this new approach to embossing.  Remember there are videos to get you started.  Thanks so much for stopping by, HUGz,

Joanna
