Two challenges for a
beautiful Sunday morning. Using the Color Throwdown Challenge #496 along with the Less is More Friendship theme #373 I went for this card.
I die cut a Pinkfresh Studio Floral Frame in black card stock and adhered it to a piece of vellum tinted with an aqua Mark-It marker sprayed with 99% Isopropyl alcohol. Then I dry embossed the card base with a Alexandra Renke labyrinth folder. I tied an aqua twine around the flower stem, adding floral sequins and beads. A “friends” black tag was heat embossed in white (stamp from Technique Tuesdays). Tonic white blizzard Nuvo glitter drops were added to the petals for extra shimmer.
Thanks so much for stopping by, HUGz, Joanna
Lovely card, Joanna. Love that shade of blue and I think the embossed background is just subtle enough to not make it too busy.
Thanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x

The vellum looks great and the black die cut flower looks fabulous against it. The crisp white dry embossed background card adds wonderful dimension to your unique and amazing card x

Love this card, Jo! Especially the simple embellishment of the twine, sequins, and beads – it adds so much to the card. Great use of the colour challenge and friendship challenge!
