The Challenge at Color Throwdown #504 is to use black, copper and white …or you can substitute rust for copper.
A gelli print card from a Mulberry Paper Leaf using a rust Distress Stain was pulled. Then I inked the same leaf with black Versafine ink and clear heat embossed. Making an oval mask window and leaf mask, I stamped an IO, cover a card, stamp in black. I made a bow with the Barc Wood Tape to match the rust print, and added a white embossed “Bonne Fête” black tag (Happy Birthday).
Thanks for stopping by, HUGz, Joanna
What a lovely card!

I love how you’ve used the leaf for the background and the foreground, Joanna! The masked script makes a perfect background and that tiny bow is amazing! Another fantastic Joanna card, my friend!
