Less Is More #381

381 CASECard

Hello everyone, the friendly LIM team has honoured me with being the Guest Designer for the new Less is More CASE Card Challenge #381.

Here’s  Rebbeca’s beautiful cue card toRebecca CASE card inspire you.  Using her colour scheme I mirrored her design and made a OLC using my Misti and Penny Blacks’ DREAMY stamp.  I inked up the hot pink ink onto the flower section and stamped until I got a clean crisp image.  Then I added Versamark onto parts of the stem and a little at the base of the flower.  I heat embossed this section with Color Box Gold Sparkle EP.   The “Bon Anniversaire” (Happy Birthday) was also stamped along the stem’s curve and heat embossed with clear and Gold Sparkle.  If you look up close, you’ll notice that I added a clear & flower sequin along with a bead at the base of the bloom 😉

Hope to see you join the CASE Card fun challenge at Less is More!

Fall Trio

Capture d_écran 2018-09-26 à 14.09.53Two challenges today: Jen B’sCapture d_écran 2018-09-26 à 14.10.14 fun Freshly Made Sketches #356 and Barbara’s colour palette of green, aqua/turqoise, and gray at Color Throwdown #512

I took out a piece of vellum, stamped and heat embossed in the colours of the challenge.  Then on my card base, I created three apertures to reflect the FMS sketch.  I used a Swiss dot embossing strip for the horizontal line, added Nuvo Glitter dots and finished with a gray card stock word die “thank you“!

Bonne Fête Maman

I saw this card made by Blütenstempel on Pinterest and I was really inspired to CASE it as aCapture d_écran 2018-09-25 à 18.28.08 special birthday card for my precious older daughter.  It’s partial die cutting with IO’s Boy with flowers die.  Then I masked with a 2nd boy die cut to gold heat emboss him 3 times.  “Bonne Fête” was stamped and gold heat embossed twice.  That’s my take on the CASology Week 314 Boy Challenge.

Foiled AI Rose

Capture d_écran 2018-09-25 à 14.24.05At the moment, this Penny Black ROSE die is one of my favourites 😀   Of course I had to enter it in the Penny Black Saturday September Challenge.  The rose was die cut out of a previously foiled AI Yupo paper, left over from this card.  The card base was stamped in the same colour tones with a Kaiser Craft oriental text stamp.  The top vellum die, cut with a MFT stitched rectangle, was stamped with a Kaiser Craft texture script stamp and heat embossed in gold.  I adhered Capture d_écran 2018-09-25 à 14.24.20all pieces together to go with the PBSC optional sketch.

THANK YOU!

WPLUS9_STAMPtember-2018-Customer-Favorites_1080-01-735x735Just made a quick THANK YOU card using WPlus9 “Summer Blooms” clear stamps set.  I stamped using my Misti with Delicata Silvery Shimmer ink embossed with clear Glitz EP, Versamark with Silver Pearl EP and Silver EP.  The “THANK YOU” was stamped and silver embossed 3 times to give dimension.

I’m entering this in the Simon Say’s “We Love WPlus9” Challenge.

ONE layer Forals

Capture d_écran 2018-09-21 à 16.23.33Since it’s a dark rainy afternoon for the last day of summer, I played inside.  The Less is More Challenge #380 is ONE layer Florals.  I made a top folding card out of 140 lb (300g/m²) Fabriano watercolour paper.  I’m trying something new, so I passed my Penny Black ROSE die to dry emboss my paper, leaving me with a good impression of the flower.  Then, using my watercolours, I carefully painted, wet on wet then wet on dry to create this bloom.  “Just pour toi” (just for you) was stamped in gray.

Florals

Capture d_écran 2018-09-20 à 14.32.04Just got some Alexandra Renke dies, Capture d_écran 2018-09-20 à 14.32.17so I coloured them for the Color Throwdown #511 palette of pink, peach, berry red and green.  I adhered them to a white card base by rotating, counter-clockwise, Chrissy’s CAS(E) this Sketch #290.  Splatters of Perfect Pearls Mist (remember those 😮 ) were added to finish.
