September CAS Mix Up Reminder

Welcome back to our September CAS Mix Up Reminder, you still have time to play.  The linky will close at midnight (PDST) on Monday, September 24th.  This month it’s Bonnie’s time to host and she has a great technique for us.  Inking up our stamps with Markers + Stamping + Your Choice.  For this card I used a Technique Tuesday Woodland Inspirations stamp.  I coloured the three tones with Tombow Brushes (493; 565 & 636) using my Misti.  Since the ink was pearling I added a coat of Versamark and then brushed on the colours onto 140lb Hot Press Arch cotton paper.  Once satisfied, I spritzed the cleaned stamp with water and pressed down until all the pigment blended into the paper.  Then I clear heat embossed.  I also use the same markers to colour the Memory Box Woodland Branch die cut.  The aqua feather was glued onto my white card base with Glossy Accents, followed by a square die cut of lacey Japanese paper, then the branch followed by the bird on a branch stamp.
