December CAS Mix Up!

Welcome back for our last 2018 CAS Mix Up Challenge.  This month of December Loll is attacking “EMBOSS RESIST” + stamping + your choice listed on the side bar.

Please NOTE that the December challenge will run Dec. 2 – 15, closing at at midnight (PDST), to provide two well deserved weeks off for all Design Team members during this busy time of year.  Winner and Outstanding Designs will be announced on December 18th.

For this ornament, I splattered generously, slightly watered down, matte medium onto 140lb watercolour paper.  While still wet, I covered with clear EP and heated, this creates a resist of the droplets.  I then sprinkled and spritzed Ost. Blue Brushos.  Once dry, I die cut the SSS hydrangea blooms and also cut them out of vellum paper.  The bow is a Penny Black die and the thin frame circle is from Altenew.  Of course I stamped the Tengucho paper with the Penny Black Woodland stamp and white heat embossed.  Before adhering all the pieces onto my textured card stock, I added a few sprinkles of the Ost. Blue Brushos to bring out the white embossed stamping on the Tengucho paper.
