I wanted to try my new Sizzix Thinlits Gift Card Bag which has alphabet stencil dies. That’s how I created the “BONNE FETE” ( Happy Birthday) grey strip. The flowers & leaves on the horizontal vellum piece are die cuts out of left over gelli printed tissue paper. I added a green rhinestone for harmony and the card was done. The Colorthrowdown #527 colour palette is navy blue, gray, and green and the design is Linda’s sketch #372 over at Freshly Made Sketches.
Thanks for stopping by, HUGz, Joanna
Sweet! Fantastic design Jo! Love your sweet flowers cut from tissue … lots of texture and such deep colour. Amazing with your vellum and gray die-cut word strip. xx

Those sweet little flowers make me think of the violets that bloom in my garden in the spring – such a cheery thought! Love the bright blue you used. And great design with the sentiment and vellum strips.
