Capture d’écran 2019-04-04 à 16.10.15The CAS(E) this Sketch #319, designed by Brian King,  made me want to play.  So, I made a stencil from an Alexandra Renke Branch Wreath die, added modeling paste to the card base along with some silver pearl EP.  Of course I heated this right away.  Then I die cut a Little B Bouquet bloom in vellum and the outline in white card stock also heat embossed with silver pearl.    Masking my wreath, I used an MFT grid background stamp for the bottom half, heat embossed, and then sprinkled/spritzed Turquoise Brushos.  Once dry I added my flower with some turquoise twine, plus I added some little flower sequins.  That’s my take on the sketch.

  1. I love that turquoise grid at the bottom. Really sets off your beautiful wreath and flower. There’s something about turquoise and white … such a fresh look! Beautiful card Jo! xx

  2. You always have a fantastic take on these sketches, Jo! I love the embossing paste wreath with the sweet vellum flower atop the blue grid. A wonderful mix of techniques and that corner of color lets all the design elements shine!
