This month at CAS Mix Up, Mac has an OMBRE theme for you. As usual there is plenty of inspiration from the design team, our special guest Bobby and lots of videos.
For this card I used and IO script BG stamp through a homemade window stencil and applied three different shades of green. Before removing the stencil, I sponged a little of the ink around the edges. Then I die cut some Alexandra Renke snowdrops blooms adding some green to the stems and foliage. This was then heat embossed with some glitz EP. Before paper piecing the flowers I added some pink shading and covered the whole flowers with some Glossy accents and applied some Liquid Pearls for the petals. I tied the bouquet with some iridescent embroidery thread and glued them on the ombre panel.
Can’t wait to see your take on our OMBRE theme this month. Thanks for stopping by, Hugz,
I just love that beautiful snowdrop layered over your wonderful ombre background – the text adds such interest to the ombre and your coloring and embossing on the snowdrop is lovely! xx

First of all, I love the blue OMBRE letters in your blog, Joanna! 🙂
What a beautiful ombre script backdrop for your pretty snowdrops! The shades of green go so well with the coral pink. The die-cut snowdrops look so lovely and shiny with the glitz heat-embossing, the Glossy Accents, and the Liquid Pearls. The iridescent embroidery thread is a wonderful (and another shiny) touch too.

Your embossed die cuts are always amazing, Jo! I’ve tried it and it’s not easy to get those delicate cuts embossed without damage! Your snowdrops are beautiful and I love how the soft pink looks with the green of the foliage and background! Another beautiful card, my sweet friend!
