Alcohol inks on vellum butterflies,
in Color Throwdown’s #546 challenge colour tones of navy, teal and coral with a cream heat embossed body. Using a TCW plaid stencil, I applied modelling paste and heat embossing also in a cream EP, to mimic the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #391. Another torn piece of vellum for the center panel was stamped in teal, “Une Pensée pour Toi” (thinking of you). To seal the
alcohol spritz flutters, I used some iridescent EP. The theme is from the TIME OUT Challenge #137, NATURE!
Thanks for stopping by, HUGz, Joanna
What a wonderful design. I love the texture beneath the vellum and all that color and texture in the butterflies. A beautiful representation of Nature. Thanks so much for playing with us at Time Out!

Beautiful, beautiful butterflies, Jo! The embossing paste background mimics the quilted patterns and I love how the torn vellum softens everything!
