The FUSION Dragonfly card Challenge seduced me to give it a try. Since I SPARKLEd this insect’s wings, plus GLOSSed the background, I thought I’d also enter into the Less is More Challenge #405 We pick, You Pick!

On textured card stock, I sponged the aqua/cobalt ink through a stencil and added glossy gel medium before removing it. The Penny Black flutter dragonfly was die cut in vellum 3 times and adhered together. Sparkle/Glitz EP was added to the wings and Black EP to the body. “Merci” was heat embossed in fuchsia EP onto a vellum banner. Here’s a closer look 😀
Thanks for stopping by, HUGz, Joanna

Beautiful tones of blue in the stenciled background! But the dragonfly is the star of the card – love the way you embossed the vellum!

I’m a huge fan of your work! Love all the shine from your embossing and love that heat embossing the vellum gave dimension to your dragonfly. What a super card! I need to bring out my embossing paste again. Fabulous!
