There’s still time to play the CAS Mix Up Challenge for its last post, in 2019. Susan has us making oxidized metal for our cards. There is plenty of inspiration on the blog from the design team, videos and our special guest Arlene.
For this Christmas card, I again used watercolours straight out of the tube onto silver foil card stock and clear heat embossed. I then cut out Alexandra Renke’s Fir Trees with frames dies and placed them behind a SSS Churches die cut backed with the same silver foil card stock. Then I stamped “Joyeux NOEL” (Merry CHRISTMAS) and heat embossed with silver EP.

May the Seasonal Holidays bring plenty of Love, Joy and buckets of KINDNESS your way. Hope to see you in the gallery, thank you so much for stopping by,

This is breathtaking, Jo! I love the free flowing design and the textured card base! The pop of your stunning metallic tree line surrounding the quaint church in the dale is very eye-catching!! Hugs, Darnell

Your oxidized die cut trees turned out beautifully, Joanna! I love how you arranged your trees around and over the sweet die cut church and balanced all with your sentiment. TFS my friend. Hugs..Nancy

This is such a pretty winter scene, Joanna!
The oxidized metal fir trees are just wonderful! I love the beautiful mix of colors and the way you arranged the solid trees and the tree frames. (I love AR’s dies!)
The white church looks so pretty among the trees, and the shape of the roof matches the shape of the trees.
