Season’s Greetings 2019

Here’s to a fun return to my crafting corner after a 2 month retreat. I decided to kick start with three special challenge blogs I love to play along with: CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #350; Freshly Made Sketches #414 and TIME OUT Challenge #150.

This simple card in the “Merry” theme, colour scheme and design of these blogs is a one layer card on watercolour paper. Some gold embossing for the leaves, some green embossing for the sentiment strip and some red Liquid Pearls with Martha Stewart glitter for the berries. I used Gansai water-based pigment for the leaves, adding splatters.

Hope you’re having Merry pre-season FUN in getting this special festive season organized. What a great way to end a year! Thanks so much for stopping by, wishing you the best! Joanna xx

Thank you for the recognition at CAS Colours & Sketches for Challenge #350

  2. oh I do like this CAS design and adore the soft colouring which blends in so well with the gold embossing. What a wonderful placement of the sentiment. Thanks for joining Time Out

  3. Each time I see a sketch in the challenge I’m always curious what you will do with it. You always do an amazing job of design. Love the image you chose as well as the colors. The tiny red berries and green sentiment add just the right amount of color for interest.
