Playing with the CAS(E) this Sketch #357 and the Color Throwdown #578 palette.
I first die cut the toque in red glitter paper and proceeded to heat emboss the pompom with two layers of puff white embossing powder. For the card base, I smooshed some light gray Tombow brushes and then splattered with some dark gray Tombow. The strip was glitz heat embossed. Then came the hard part, can I succeed to aline the MFT border strip twice, above and below, and get it even? Evidently, the answer was NO 😛 …so I added Nuvo Crystal drops and heat embossed with some white pearl powder. Careful, they do explode when heated, …just like an egg in the microwave LOL! …better to let them dry first! A light Christmas card for my stash 😀
Thanks for stopping by, HUGz, Joanna

I love your sparkly toque, Jo! That puffy pom pom is perfect and I love the red sparkle. Love the die cut borders and they are proof that they don’t have to line up perfectly to work!

This is creativity at it’s best! No clue how you think of these things but I sure love seeing them. Your border looks fine to me and I could understand how hard that was to line up! I love your work!
