It’s a snow storm here, just over 30 cm of snow 😛 What better way but to spend it inside and make a Christmas card. I’m playing with CAS(E) this Sketch #361. My friend Bonnie sent me some precious “prills”! For a gal who loves flowers, they were PERFECT ….for the heart of my poinsettias 😀 Once the approach was decided, this was a fairly quick card to make. The base was dry embossed with an Alexandra Renke folder, and splatters of Starry Watercolour gold were added. An Altenew fine circle frame was pearl gold heat embossed as a starting point for the 3 Brusho Blooms, also splattered with gold. Two leaves were die cut in vellum (from the Tattered Lace Lavish Poinsettia set) so as to separate each flower.
Thanks so much for stopping by, HUGz, Joanna

WOW! This is another one of those cards I want to reach out and touch. The texture on this is amazing and the gold splatters add so much interest. Once again you have created an incredibly imaginative card. This is just fabulous!

A wonderful design Joanna and the texture from the dry embossing looks fabulous as a background for those pretty poinsettias and the delicate leaves. Another stunner of a card x.

Lovely little poinsettia in gorgeous colours. Great layout with the gold splatters, the gold circle, and the vellum leaves.
