Welcome to a brand new challenge at CAS Mix Up, hosted by our very talented Loll. Inspiration from our Special Guest Mac and our design team plus Videos are on the blog to kick start your creativity.
I sprinkled Brushos, Ost. Blue & Yellow, onto mixed media paper and spritzed with water. After it was dry, I stamped half of the largest Penny Black Butterfly Trio with Versamark and gold heat embossed. Using bleach, straight out of the bottle, I brushed some over the wings. Once dry, some Kuretake Gansai Tambi Starry Colors white gold was applied for some vibrancy to the same area. Four drops of Emerald Liquid Pearls were added to the edge of the flutter.

Do join in on the fun, thank you so much for stopping by,

Wonderful design Jo and I like that you offset the butterfly and the way the Brushos has created a burst of colour.

Wonderful Brusho background with gorgeous bleached out butterfly wings, Joanna! The sparkle form the starry white gold is so pretty. The emerald liquid pearls perfectly match the green Brusho color. Love this CAS beauty!

Once again I’m in awe of the design and originality! Beautiful work with this challenge. I thought for sure that the butterfly was on acetate. Your bleaching turned out perfectly. Usually there is some residue of color left. Another fantastic, over-the-top gorgeous card!
