That’s the theme over at the CAS Christmas Card Challenge “Winter Berries“. My good friend, Bonnie, inspired this card. When I saw the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge, I did like OPRAH -> ” AHA” 😀 Using the Sizzix Holiday Greens dies, I die cut the holly one out of watercolour paper, added colour and then applying some crackle paste. I used the pine die-cut as a stencil and added some sponging on the card base. The white strip is a PB geometric border. The berries were die-cut and clear heated embosses and the card was done.
Thanks for stopping by, STAY SAFE, HUGz Joanna
Stunning! The way you did those berries is absolutely beautiful – even more gorgeous with the bit of glitter and pine needles behind it! Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.

Wow! Love how you’ve stenciled the pine behind the die cut holly and berries! Wish I’d thought about crackle paste. I think I have a pot of it that hasn’t even been opened. The geometric band adds even more texture and interest! Thanks for the shout out, my friend.

The combined stencil and die cut are so well done and I especially love the die but both over and under that border strip. You have a real flair for design. This is so beautifully done!

Love the way you did the stenciling on the card base as a background for your beautiful die cut holly sprig. And great use of the geometric border die to add interest! A gorgeous card! Thanks so much for making a card for CAS Christmas!
