Yellow Poppy

Watercolouring a Penny Black blooming garden poppy in yellow and grey for the Color Throwdown Challenge #594 along with the CAS(E) this Sketch #373 Challenge designed an inspired by Donna Mikasa. A PB border strip of rice paper and a Memory Box butterfly trio. A spring bloom for the Memory Box May Flowers challenge #6e.

  2. I love this watercoloring, it has turned out beautifully and I really like how you have offset the panel on your card. I usually end up putting my panels in the centre even though I know it can add something to be offset. I think I just checked out as a confidence thing but I can see from this card how well it can work so thanks xx

  4. Holy Smokes this almost looks like a photograph. I’ve seen beautiful water color before but this does beat all. It’s incredible! Your shading and blending could not be more perfect. What a beauty this is!
