You know when you go deep into your stash and discover little treasures? …well when this patterned piece of ivory vellum fell into my hands I knew it was going to be used today 😀 The CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #387 had the perfect dosage for cutting up this precious delicate paper. The IO die leaf was also cut in layers of white and this delightful vellum. To jazz it up with a “little” colour, I knew that the Color Throwdown Challenge #610 had the perfect punch of pizazz. So I trimmed threads of coloured card stock and quilled these lovely strings to embellish the leaf. I added more strings of paper to defined the line below the vellum, hence gluing the vellum onto the white card base. This is the kind of card you hand deliver 😉
Stay SAFE and craft on, thank you so much for stopping by, HUGz, Joanna

Gorgeous vellum paper and beautiful leaf die cut. Also, I like the addition of those “colours” around the leaf. So beautiful!! Also, thank you for playing along with CC&S challenge. 🙂

That vellum is the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. I see why you saved it for something special. The card is awesome and those quilled strings add such lovely color in small doses. A true work of art.

This has that touch of class I rarely see on any card, Just wow on the forming of the petals as well as adding the tendrils. How I’d love to watch your work and design. You really are a cut about the rest!

Wow! This is SO ELEGANT, Jo! Love that vellum and how you’ve given it center stage on the card then cut a sweet leaf to add to the other leaf layers! The quilled paper threads add just enough pop of color to make this jaw dropping! Another masterpiece, my friend!
