OK, so there’s a new challenge out there called Color Hues. Many of my blog friends have played to get it out there. So I decided to join in at the last minute, just because I just learnt about it. But, you’ll see the next challenge come Tuesday. Yellow and Green HUES are the theme and so I started with a Penny Black Stamp called Blooming Garden. I used 140lb watercolour paper and Daniel Smith paints. I knew that I was making a stamp, but make no mistake, small doesn’t necessarily mean less time 😉 I used both Technique Tuesday’s Postage Card die for the tiny painting and Taylored Expressions Postage Stamp Stacklets for the vellum. I outlined the vellum with a micron pen, stamped in black Versafine “Ces petits riens qui font le bonheur” (It’s in the little things that we find happiness) ….so appropriate right now, don’t you think? A Papersmooches tiny heart die was cut out of smooth white card stock and stacked onto black card stock. I’m really happy about the outcome of this card.
Stay SAFE all, craft on… Thank you so much for stopping by, HUGz, Joanna

Beautiful Jo! xx

I am amazed at your talent, to paint is one thing but to paint such a small image is another! You got such depth and detail and nailed the color hues too! Wrap it up with texture and a white heart and I’m in love! The sentiment speaks volumes.
