This is the name of a Penny Black die which I’ve had forever, can you believe an NBUS (Never been used stuff as our friend Darnell would say). Playing to the tune of the CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #392! Yup, painted the die cut in gold and red watercolours, topped it with a vellum previously die cut with a circle, leaving part of the die between the vellum and card base. Some Nuvo glitter dots to finish for embellishment. No sentiment, since I think this can’t get more Christmas-sy 😉
Keep safe and do take care, thank you so much for stopping by, HUGz, Joanna

That is a beautiful and DELICATE die cut – gorgeous, love how you painted it gold, so pretty. I have quite a bit of NBUS myself, clearly I need to be pulling those things out. Love the use of the cut vellum, great use of the sketch. Love your work. Thanks for joining us this week at CC&S

Very beautiful! And so creative to use the vellum panel as your circle. Thanks so much for playing along with us at the CC&S challenge blog!

What a pretty die cut, Jo! I love the swirling tendrils in gold and the vellum adds such a dreamy look! A great idea to have the branch curling out from under the vellum! Pure elegance, my friend!
