November CAS Mix Up 2020

Welcome back to the “Off the Edge” Challenge over at CAS Mix Up hosted by our very talented Bonnie. Take a peak at the blog for design team inspiration, videos and our talented special guest Michele…I Card Everyone!

Inspired by our autumn here in Eastern Canada, I thought that stamping leaves would be appropriate for this challenge. Using my favourite Dylusions leaf stamp, I stamped 3 times in gray ink, silver embossing the first. Then I watercolored the embossed branch with Daniel Smith paints, allowing it dry before applying some Glossy Accents. The other branches were painted in gray ink mixed with a little iridescent medium. The Memory Box sentiment strip was stamped and silver heat embossed. For the second, I stamped once, in gray, on the card base. The leaves were coloured with zigs and embellished with clear Wink of Stella. I also stamped again onto an MFT stitched horizontal strip and used the same approach as the first.

Hope you’ll join us at CAS Mix Up, thanks so much for stopping by,

It’s with a heavy heart that I am stepping down from the CAS Mix Up Family. These great gals will definitely keep you on your toes. Thank you all so very much for your kind words of encouragement through the years, you are a blessing. I will always continue to create cards and I know that our paths will definitely cross again.
