LIM 459

The challenging One Layer Card, always gets me. It’s a “Just One Word” theme over at the Less is More Challenge #459. I tried to give this one a twist 😛 …by die-cutting the edge and stamping the daffodil inside with Delicata gold ink ….adding glitter EP along the edge of the bloom. “Merci” (Thanks) was my word choice for the challenge.

Cloisonne II

A second version of Susan’s Cloisonne theme over at CAS Mix Up. After visiting Loll’s blog I had to try my Finetec pearl watercolours too. This time I stamped some sticking EP to add some gilding flakes to these eucalyptus twig. Then I popped a Bonne Fête (Happy Birthday) word die to finish. I’m glad I gave this a second try.

Cloisonne

Such an interesting challenge over at CAS Mix Up hosted by Susan. I have to give this Cloisonne technique a try. I used some pattern paper, 2 different ones …just for fun. I first stamped the image on my card base, and the two pattern papers. I fussy cut and paper pieced onto the card to then gold heat emboss, thus ending up with two cards. The top of the cards were trimmed with a MFT stitched basic edge die and I added the floral pattern rectangle for the interior of the cards. A little stencilling was added for interest.
