Sweetest Pea

Playing to the Color Throwdown Challenge #687 of lime green, aqua, and gold. I did some ink sponging with a Carabelle Studio stencil. Then I stamped and gold heat embossed the sweet pea filling in the petals with glossing accents and some gold Pearl-Ex was sprinkled. Voilà, that’s my take on the CTD687.

Perfectly Metallic

Perfectly CAS Challenge #24 has us playing with a Metallic theme. I used the leaf die cut to create the metal focal point and to use as a homemade stencil to sponge a little delicata gold ink onto the card base. The word “amicalement” (friendly) was gold heat embossed along with the leaf die cut.

A great Christmas theme, …for me, with this Less Is More Challenge #451. Using a Simply Graphic fir tree die as a stencil, I applied some super heavy gel and then added some clear rock candy. I finished the card with a red glitter paper star and word die “Joyeuses Fêtes” (Happy Holidays).

Maman’s Bouquet

Color Throwdown’s Challenge #643 is deliciously zen, I love it! Playing to the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #486 interesting sketch completed my Mother’s Day card. 😀 Some ink blending on a partial masked stencil and this adorable boy die from IO. A little liquid pearls on the blooms and I sincerely wish you all a very belated Happy Mother’s Day. 😉

Je suis là…

A dimensional OLC for the Less is More flower challenge #437. I debossed the front panel with a rectangle die cut. Then I added a little stencil ink blending and a little embossing paste with some silver embossing powder. I made two 😀 but the second I used only embossing paste with EP over the debossed center. The sentiment “Je suis là…” (I am there…) was stamped and also silver heat embossed.

Hearts & Stencils

Combining those two elements is always fun. Some embossing paste through, both, a flower and heart stencil. Adding two different types of gold embossing powder, then blasting it with my heat gun. The gold “Merci d’être là” means Thank you for being there. So appropriate right now, don’t you think?

Playing with the Inkspirational Challenge #232Hearts; Just Us Girls Challenge #570Valentine; Perfectly CAS Challenge #11Stencils; and, of course, CAS Mix Up FebruaryStencil & heat embossing! Happy Little Stamper also has the Stencil Challenge “Anything Goes” 😀

Thank you softly

It’s a fun day in my crafty corner and I’m playing with Freshly Made Sketches #470 & Color Throwdown Challenge #627. I wanted to make a OLC but I just had to add the Thanks word die to give it a little UMF …is that a word? AND I wanted the inside to be just as cool 😉

Take card everyone, thanks for stopping by, HUGz, Joanna
