Little Dragonfly

MoJo 449.Capture d’écran 2016-07-21 à 21.51.44

WHITE cards have always been my favorite.  Japanese paper rectangle sewn on with silver color bead string through the stitch line border die. A die cut branch under a Dragonfly which was die cut in watercolor paper (gold watercolor paint, Pitt artist pen contour, Silver Liquid Pearls for the body and a coat of Crackle Accents for the wings). Voilà, that’s my interpretation.

Have a great week, thanks for stopping by!

Spring flowers

Spring is late here in Canada, so why not create it 😀

Inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #173 here is my take with 3 octagon dieCapture d’écran 2016-07-21 à 09.11.59 cut windows on my flowered card-stock.  Poppies and a Daisy are popping out of the octagon openings.

The sentiment? Well, it can be found within the card 😉

Thanks for taking a peep, have a great weekend!

Meet “Lola” (watercolour)

Best Friend

No matter how today went, there’s a very good chance you did the best you could.

Loving, affectionate and disciplined, well when there’s no food around.  My faithful friend is a lab picked up during our expat life in Mexico.  She follows me everywhere and she is greatly loved by us all.

This is a watercolour painting on 140 lb Arche paper (22″ x 15″).

Golden Smile :)

Another fun sketch from Mojo Monday (MOJO448).

This time, a vellum butterfly over layers of tissue paper tied together with gold beads to match a gold background.

I also entered my card to CAS(E) this Sketch #172

Thanks for stopping by, have a great week 😀

Merci, merci, merci

This week a layered card for the Mojo Monday sketch MOJO447.

IMG_0015

A flourish die cut on opposite corners of the base white paper stock with crimpled kraft card stock at the mid section.  Two rectangle layers, one of dry embossed tissue paper and the other layer of Japanese paper.  Stringed a few beads and attached it with an eyelet to the layers.  Topped it off with “merci” (thank you) die cuts in 3 different colors.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great week!

Full of Hearts

My first Mojo Monday entry (MOJO446).  Capture d’écran 2016-07-21 à 21.53.52White embossed a heart flourish on vellum and tied two more with an eyelet.  Strung two more clear embossed teeny coral hearts.  Clear embossed the coral background with arrows and complimented another two hearts to the bottom right.

Thanks for stopping by 😉
