A quick and easy card for the CAS(E) this Sketch #211 beautifully designed by Michele Ferguson. I used Penny Black’s Dreamy stamp, sticky embossing powder and gilded flakes. A postage stamp die cut (by Taylored Expressions) of the blossom plus a vellum to mat on the underside. “En cette occasion” (On this occasion) was stamped also using gilded flakes and the card was done.

This is so pretty!! LOVE the gilding flakes with this gorgeous image. I’m ashamed to say I have had this stamp for MONTHS and not inked it yet! Need to pull it out. xx

Jo, this is a wonderful way to use the Dreamy stamp (one of my favourites). I must try using gilding flakes with stamps again (I’ve never been very successful). The colours are so beautiful and I love the idea of matting with vellum.
