Flower Skies

I do love N@Ali’s sketches over at CAS(E) this Sketch #386. Inspired by the As You See It Challenge #232 reference colours I made a word die card. BONNE (Happy) are MFT alphabet die cuts using pattern paper over 4 layers of yellow card stock and clear heat embossed several times. The yellow “fête” (birthday) was heat embossed in WOW clear glitz EP. Finally the Lucys flower sequins were threaded with cajun beads on yellow twine.

Thank you ladies over at As You See It Challenge for the honourable mention and recognition.

Stay SAFE, take care, HUGz, Joanna

  3. What a fabulous look that lettering is with the coats of embossing powder. I had tried this after seeing your work and it sure is a lot of work to do that. Love the effect and the string and beads adds so much to it – a brilliant addition. Once again, an amazing design!

  4. Love, love, love these flowery letters with the dimension and wonderful shine, Jo! They remind me of wonderful porcelain drawer pulls! The yellow embossed “fete” is a wonderful companion! The sequins and beads threaded through the O are a wonderful, special addition! A beautiful card, my friend!

  5. Your die cut lettering is amazing! The plain, textured background lets them shine while the threaded sequins adds real interest. Great design. Thank you for joining in with us this week at As You See It Challenge.
