A perfect rainy Saturday to create 😉 . Freshly Made Sketches has the perfect Sketch #250 along with CAS Colours & Sketches #187 gorgeous trio of colours (Flirty Flamingo, Chocolate Chip & Sweet Sugarplum). Got the coarse modelling paste out to make a textured background. Then I took out some watercolour paper and white embossed a rose cover-a-card stamp. Adding the two pinkish tones I painted the flowers, love this combination! A piece of rose tinted vellum for the leaves were fixed with a white eyelet to the water colour paper along with white rose die-cuts. A chocolate chip card stock was used to cut out the word die “spécial” (special) …sorry about the rainy day lighting which makes it look like dark chocolate :p
That’s my take on these two inspiring challenge blogs, my happy place.
Have a great week-end, & happy card making 😀
Gorgeous use of the CC&S colours on those roses and the textured background looks great. Thanks for joining us this week. Caro x
