Mica Feather

Card making keeps me sane 😀 Today I’m playing to two challenges with the same theme. Just Us Girls Challenge #530, Happy Little Stampers CAS Challenge Feathers, and the OLC-no sentiment challenge #416 at Less is More.

For this one layer card, I dry embossed a Spellbinders’ Resplendent Rectangle onto the card base and then, leaving the die in place, I outlined with a clear sparkle gel pen. Then I stamped the Stampendous ‘Peacock Feather’ with Versamark, added some sticky EP and applied different shades of Pearl Ex. You can see the shimmer on a close up here.

  9. I never would have thought pearl ex would yield such a beautiful glitter look to this. Amazing again in technique. I’m amazed that the pens you use always seem to work too. Mine just dry up and love how the framing stands out with the use of the pen. Beautifully done- and what a classy look to this.
