The Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is celebrating it’s 8th Birthday. A birthday theme featuring SSS products, so I used the SSS Fresh Daisies die as a stencil to first apply embossing paste onto my white card base. Using the same card stock, I then cut a rounded MFT rectangle as a center panel to which I die cut again using SSS Quadrangle frames die. This created a window for my embossing paste flowers to be seen. The frame, the daisies and IO’s Happy Birthday word dies were cut out of Bristol paper. The flowers were painted using Tombow Brushes #158 & #772 and then clear heat embossed twice. The frame and word die cuts were silver heat embossed twice. The silver frame was then inlaid within the small rectangle, tucking the watercolored daisies within this aperture. Silver thread was added and the “Happy Birthday” was adhered. A little coral Liquid Pearls were added for interest and the card was done. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SSS 😀
Thanks for stopping by, HUGz, Joanna

Gorgeous watercoloured flowers. And love the “shadow” flowers from embossing paste. The frame is really amazing to bring the eye to the flowers. Great job inlaying the frame … looks tricky! xx

Love the way you used the quadrangle frames (so much so that I may have to buy that die!). Beautiful soft colours on the flowers.
