It’s a new challenge at the CAS Mix Up Blog for November hosted by Bonnie, “Stamping + Glitter + your choice” 😉 !
I started by using some coarse texture gel on 140lb watercolour paper and applying it with a plastic gift card. While wet I sprinkled some aqua blue glitter and allowed it to dry. With a brush, I loosely painted some vintage photo distress ink over the paste and let it run off onto the watercolour paper. The stamping was done with the same distress ink using MFT’s Art Expression Text clear stamp. Then I die cut the Heart Parade die from SSS adding the same glitter. Some cheese cloth was tucked underneath this die before adhering it over the paste. Finally I added a thick coat of Crackle Accents with in the largest heart and the card was done.

What a wonderful mixed media card Joanna and the brown with the blue is so pretty. I love the blue glittery die cut hearts and the background with the script goes beautifully with lots of added texture with the paste, glitter, cheese cloth and especially the crackle glossy accents. x
