Vellum Christmas

“Use Vellum” is the theme over at Less Is More Challenge #472. I applied this technique before and had so much fun I had to try it again, but this time with a die-cut. I used AIs on the underside of the vellum, glued the die-cuts and cleaned the edges with 99% alcohol.

A little Coucou to the gals over at CAS Mix Up Challenge. The theme for August is “emboss resist” so I alternated masking to each side of the die cut feather so I could stamp and white heat embossed each side with a different stamp. Some Ost. blue Brushos was sprinkled and spritzed with water. A little Schmincke AquaBronze rich gold powder was also added for some shimmer. After double stacking the feather some gold thread was wrapped around the stem and adhered to a white card base. “Juste une note” (Just a note) was stamped and gold heat embossed twice.

Thank you so much for stopping by, HUGz, Joanna
