Living in Saint Colomban (in the Laurentian area, just north of Montreal) I appreciate the four beautiful seasons offered by “la belle province” Québec, Canada! Thanks to the best husband and three awesome grownup children, I have been encouraged to play with my paints. Their precious critics have allowed me to grow as the creative person that I have become. Drawing has been part of my life since childhood and, when I turned 40, my hubby strongly encouraged me and bought me watercolours and classes as a birthday present. This self expression is truly a blessing that makes me HAPPY!
As a Registered Nurse, I worked for mining companies in northern Quebec as an Occupational Health Supervisor & Consultant. Then my hubby was offered employment as an expat in Chihuahua, in northern Mexico, where I was surrounded by beautiful art expressions. Rapidly learning Spanish, I was able to take various drawing and painting classes which I love to practice.
When my youngest left for college, I created this blog to keep my creative juices stimulated and disciplined. Although I love doing watercolour paintings, my love for card-making allows for self expression within a very short time frame. These projects are like little creations that my family and my friends truly appreciate, so I hope that in some way, they’ll inspire your own card-making. Thanks for stopping by 😉
