A thank you card made with Alcohol Inks on translucent Yupo paper. A couple of weeks ago I watched this video by Kelly Latevola on foiling over AIs. After seeing Jodi Collins’ AI card from the Color Throwdown #495 colour challenge, I decided it was time to give it a try. Using Denim and Wild Plum AIs, I waited the drying time required, BUT, instead of just pressing Gold Deco Foil on top, I passed it through my Cuttlebug. Well, as you can see, it pressed more of the scratches from my plate than the stickiness left from the AIs. Nevertheless it was still beautiful …to me 😉 . So I used Jen Brum’s perfect sketch from Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #339 to finish this card. I scored the right diagonal side and completed with the foiled AI Yupo paper. With a left over piece, I die cut “merci” (thank you) and adhered it.
Thanks so much for stopping by, HUGz, Joanna
UPDATE: My card got a shout out at Color Throwdown Thank you Jodi 😀
