This week is the delightful double at CAS Colours & Sketches.
Double Challenge #180 uses the colours, Bermuda Bay – Melon Mambo – Daffodil Delight , with Bev’s following sketch.
To start out, I dragged out some pattern paper similar to the colours suggested and pasted them together in a hap hazard geometric style. I used one of MFT’s Die-namics Stitched Basic Edges to cut a stitched curve in the white card stock. This was glued atop the the 3 pattern papers and using the stitched rectangle in MFT’s Die-namics Blueprints 25, I die-cut the main panel.
Papersmooches’ word die-cut
“celebrate” is broken in 4 sections, so I used the
same pattern papers and embossed it with clear sparkle powder. You can see the reflections below…
I wrapped the tiny butterfly in matching colour
threads and assembled the card.
Thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend!!!
This card was selected for the Double Challenge #180 at CAS Colours & Sketches. Thanks for the recognition & Congrats to all the other Winners
Such a fun and creative card, love how you have die cut the sentiment. Lovely to see you in the gallery and FAB use of the challenge. My apologies in being SO late coming by to comment, it’s been one of those weeks! Hugs Bev x

Such a great way to incorporate the challenge colours using the patchworked papers. I love the sentiment in multiple colours too. A great CAS card. Thanks for joining us again at CAS Colours & Sketches. Liz x

The patchwork idea is a genius way to incorporate the challenge colors! I like how you’ve done the sentiment to match. The butterfly is a sweet little finishing touch. You did a super job with our double challenge at CC&S – thanks for joining us this week! 🙂
