June CAS Mix Up Challenge

A new month, a new challenge at CAS Mix Up!  It’s time to take out those embossing pastes and gels.  Don’t forget to take a look at the videos to get you inspired 😀

A Penny Black’s IRIS flower was die cut in watercolour paper.  The iris was painted with Daniel Smith watercolours.  The flower was then die cut again in a piece of card stock to create a stencil for the white modelling paste which was applied to the white card base.  Once dry, the watercolored flower die cut was pasted just slightly below, adding a heat embossed tag stamped “jolie Pensée” (a pretty thought) tied to the stem with yellow twine.  Some green and yellow splatters were added for interest and some of those splatters were covered with Nuvo glitter drops.

Hope you join us with your creative CAS designs.  Don’t forget to take a look at what the dynamic Designer Team has come up with.  The challenge is open until the 24th of June, can’t wait to see your entries.  Thanks for stopping by, HUGs
